Celebrities Uncover the Unthinkable in Season 6 of 'Who Do You Think You Are?'

By Aaron Couch -- MARCH 3, 2016

Lea Michele, Scott Foley and Molly Ringwald are getting blasts from the past in the new season of Who Do You Think You Are?

PEOPLE has the exclusive first look of the season, which also features Chris Noth, Aisha Tyler and Katey Sagal.

In the clip, Sagal gets emotional, revealing that she doesn't know as much about her roots as she would like.

"What happens when you lose your parents young is I have all these questions that I can't find anybody to answer," she says.

Michele has a sweet reunion with a long lost relative; Ringwald looks deeper into a family story that she is descended from Swedish royalty, and Foley is wowed when he learns that one of his relatives was put in trial in the Salem Witch Trials, and in the season will also learn that an ancestor risked his life for one of America's founding fathers.

"My mind is blown that I have such a connection to the history of this country," says Foley.

Who Do You Think You Are? returns April 3 at 9 p.m. ET on TLC.
