Warriors of Liberty City, a new six-part documentary series about a neighborhood in Miami, Florida that has produced some of the NFL’s finest talent, will premiere on Starz in September. The doc will follow a season with the Liberty City Warriors, a youth football team founded by hip-hop legend Luther Campbell, a.k.a Uncle Luke. Some of the biggest names in football have come out of Liberty City, including Devonta Freeman, Antonio Brown, Duke Johnson and Teddy Bridgewater. (For those less football-inclined, Moonlight director Barry Jenkins also hails from the city.) You can check out an exclusive teaser trailer up above.

As the clip notes, a total of 25 players in the NFL right now are from Miami. The kids in the Liberty City Warriors are inspired by the great players who came before them and are fighting for a future away from the crime in the streets around them. "You fight, and you fight, 'til you can't fight no more," Uncle Luke says. "That is the motto of Liberty City."

The series, executive produced by LeBron James and Maverick Carter’s SpringHill Entertainment and Shed Media, a division of Warner Bros., was directed by the award-winning director and producer Evan Rosenfeld (who was also behind the 30 for 30 docs The U and Broke), and co-directed by Andrew Cohn. The documentary made its world premiere at the 2018 SXSW Festival, making history as the first to be accepted into the “Episodic” category.

Warriors of Liberty City will premiere on Starz on Sunday, Sept. 16 at 8 p.m. ET.
